So i've been asked a few times if i could make them clear.
short answer: no.
long answer:
Dragon Skin is kinda milky when cured. when it's post heat cured to smooth-on' recipe they turn almost white but then go back to milky when cooled.
the second problem is the texture, the molds are intentionally not polished to improve grip of the silicone on the skin.
it was suggested that i use some kind of window caulk that's clear.
Thats a hard NO!!!!
Silicone caulk is not certified skinsafe. it uses acetic acid and moisture from the air to cure. if it's not cured 100% it will burn your skin. pumping it into a closed mold would not allow it to cure properly as it has little to no exposure to air/moisture.
Can't you use fish tank sealant?
again, no!!!!
it's the same as window caulk just in a smaller tube with a higher price.
